David is the founder and Managing Director of PromoConnection. He leads a team of personnel that have an equal amount of experience in their respective fields. He has over 15 years of experience in the sector and has built PromoConnection up to what it is today. His role in the business is to ensure that our product offering to our clients is tailored, cutting edge, and designed to meet the clients marketing agenda.
Shakira has been with Promo Connection for over 5 years, and in that time has mastered every facet of the business. Shakira Williams, who has previously worked in exports in the FMCG Industry. Her primary role in the business is to manage our client accounts by ensuring their satisfaction throughout the purchasing cycle.
A Finance and Operations leader, with extensive people management experience, locally and through Africa, Mediterranean and Middle East. Andrew has an aptitude for quickly understanding the key drivers and stress points within PromoConnection which has allowed the company to cut through the clutter.
May has been with Promo Connection for over 5 years and comes from a logistics background working for SGS a global freight forwarding company. May is our liaison with our shipping companies we deal with updating them when to book vessels and ensure our goods are inspected for customs clearance. The logistics demands of today can be complex.
Elke joined the team in 2017 and found her feet quickly. She runs a tight ship on the accounting front . Elke is responsible for all our daily accounting, processing the paperwork for our company’s business transactions. She is highly accurate, efficient, and knowledgeable.
David is a procurement professional, and plays a crucial role in our organisation, ensuring that the company makes appropriate purchases of services or goods especially in the lifestyle and electronics categories. He is responsible for consolidating information and feedback, timely coordination in procurement of quality, quantity and price covering a vast range of our product selection we provide to our clients.
Jenson has over 8 years working experience working for a trading company in China, before joining the Promo Connection Team 4 years ago. Jenson studied accounting and brings valuable experience in both the procurement and accounting fields and forms the main communicational link between our office in Cape Town and our office in China, as well as the various factories.
Yonan Du Toit
Yonan is a seasoned graphic designer with a background in interior design, who has been with PromoConnection for 4 years, works closely with agencies to guarantee that all FA meets the required spec of both brand and supplier.
Sarah our newest member to the team has a passion for discovery and cultivating human connections.…focused on creating smart, provocative, and conceptual work for editorial illustrations, covers, brands and various print and online visual communications. Through constant exploration of typography, imagery and illustration, her work transcends style. She combines an empathy for the consumer experience with her natural talent creating unique and memorable visuals.
The oldest member of the team at PromoConnection, Arnold has over 12 years’ experience in local packaging and warehousing. He oversees the logistics procedures for PromoConnection. When it comes to quality control, Arnold is our man on the ground. We have a strict policy on boxing, product packaging and delivery standards; this is no easy task.
